Consonant Vowel Consonant
Get hooked on this brand new Fishing Game – don’t be reeled in by lesser imitations.
Children will have great fun whilst playing this game which helps them to identify and spell out CVC words (Consonant Vowel Consonant). All the consonant “fish” are coloured blue whilst the vowels are red – this method uses a universally recognised way of learning the difference between consonants and vowels. The letters are in Infant Sassoon font which has been specifically developed as the most suitable font for children to recognise and is widely used in schools.
There are two ingenious levels of play (for up to 4 players). In both games, all the fish are spread out onto a flat surface. Each child takes a fishing rod and a game board. In turn, each player catches the appropriately lettered fish in order to make up a word which is pictured on their board. This is a superb educational tool which encourages interaction between children and makes learning fun.
The set comes with 55 magnetic fish, 4 double-sided work cards, 4 magnetic fishing poles and an instruction guide.
